Over 40 drivers without licenses were detained on Minsk Region roads over the weekend. This was reported to BELTA by the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee.

70 accidents without casualties were registered in the region over the weekend, in which vehicles sustained mechanical damage.

In total, over the weekend, regional traffic police officers identified 1,468 violations by road users. During the specified period, law enforcement officers detained 19 drunk drivers, stopped 42 cases of driving without a license. 49 drivers violated the speed limit.

In addition, 387 pedestrians were brought to administrative responsibility. It is reported that 76 pedestrians were drunk, another 208 were not marked with reflective elements.
